This product harnesses the body's natural response to stimulate collagen production and guarantees visible and lasting results that can last from 1 to 2 years (Ellansé S and Ellansé M, respectively).

The Ellansé implant is injected into the subcutaneous layer (hypodermis and supra-periosteum) to achieve the best results. It is sterile, latex-free, pyrogen-free, and fully resorbable, mainly composed of synthetic poly-ε-caprolactone (PCL) microspheres suspended in a carrier gel based on saline phosphate buffer (Ph. Eur.), glycerin (Ph. Eur.), and carboxymethylcellulose (USP). PCL is a flexible and resorbable medical polymer used for decades with an excellent safety profile.

Composition:

The composition of Ellansé S includes 70% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), which acts as a carrier gel for an immediate volumizing effect, and 30% polycaprolactone (PCL) in the form of spherical particles (25 to 50 microns) for a prolonged volumizing effect. Both substances are bioresorbable, biocompatible, and fully degradable by hydrolysis.

The difference between Ellansé S and Ellansé M lies in the length of the polycaprolactone chains, resulting in a slower or faster resorption (1 to 2 years, respectively).
