Addressing the four factors

Acne combines hyperséborrhée, follicular hyperkeratinization, bacterial proliferation, and inflammation. A treatment that targets only one of these factors quickly reaches a plateau — hence professional formulations that combine several complementary active ingredients.

Do not confuse acne and rosacea

Rosacea papulopustules resemble those of acne, but the underlying issue is vascular and inflammatory, not seborrheic. Classic drying treatments often worsen the condition. Dedicated care, such as Rozatrol or anti-redness formulas, follows this different logic.

The trap of over-treatment

Many patients excessively dry out their skin, triggering reactive hyperséborrhée and weakening the barrier. Combining a regulating treatment with appropriate hydration yields better results than a solely drying approach.
